September 19, 2006 – enRoute to “bigness”

This here is the follow up to the enRoute piece I had written and complained about. I had written the writer of the piece via email and had told her of my grievances as such. She promptly wrote me back and explained the situation and admitted to the errors (important note: it was not, and I never thought it was, done on purpose). It was a mix up of information. At any rate, she apologized for it and I obviously accepted since my dealings with her throughout were very nice. Simple mistake, apology asked and accepted. End of story? No. I opened an email from her this morning and found that as a result of this, she, unsolicited, made the decision to donate her fee for the article to a charity for children!! Absolutely amazing and so big of her as a human being! Just awesome really. Totally awesome!
